Tonight I stayed at school until 8:30pm or so. I had put together two "science fair" style trifold boards with all kinds of photos and fun info about both yearbook and 3D. We had the 8th grade parent information session tonight, with a fair-type dealy for electives and clubs. I duly represented my classes, and one of my superstar yearbook girls showed up to help answer questions and haul stuff.

The robotics club was in full force. Their robot is almost fully functional, and they had the joysticks out for people to play with. They also had my favorite guy, jb, dressed up as a cardboard robot running aboot with giant wrenches and a robotic speakervoice systerm. He had cardboard head and torso, with dryervent arms and legs, ending with stripey toe-socked feets. It was pretty hilarious. The 8th graders loved it, the younger siblings were terrified and the parents laughed. Good stuff.

Now I am tired and the kitchen is still torn apart.
