Holy Moley! Did you guys see the hail yesterday? It was so sudden and freakish. One moment it's sunny, the next there's thunder and lightning, and hail the size of marbles attacking my plants. I went running outside to put up the tomatoes' blanket over them to protect them, and man! Those hail balls hurt! They're all, "Thwack, thwack, thwack!" It was too late anyhow. Some of the tomato guys got all beat up. The basil and the rhubarb have holes in their leaves, and the some of the tulips got punctured, too. So weird. Brian set up a light in the garage and the tomatoes are in our "recovery ward."

Had B and Ryan over for dinner last night. It was super fun. We ate tuna mole, and drank yummy pomegranit margaritas, and attempted to eat the terrible flan I made. Good times.
