I have one final left to go. It's my "fun and extra" art history class. Funny how while I enjoy the class, the prof and the material, I cannot, for the dear sweet love of baby jesus, sit my ass down to study today. I'm all jumpy and antsy and would rather start five projects and then abandon them for the sake of sweeping and doing dishes. I cannot for the life of me focus on the distinction between mimesis and metonymy. Nor on what is meant, in post-colonial theory, by hybridity and diaspora (re: contemporary art, of course).
I'd rather go paint. fortunately (or not...) I have a date w/ some art girls from school for drinks at Momo's in a few hours. Swa-weet! I'll try this studyin' thing again tomorrow.
