Goodness, I'm tired. We took the EHS Art Club kids down to Eugene this weekend to experience Eugene ART. It was certainly tiring. The kids seemed to have fun, and the other teacher seemed pleased to have us as company. Because I love lists, here are some things we did:

- took the kids to lunch on Hawthorne before leaving ptown.
- saw a car all on fire on I5, backseat a-flaming.
- found many ants in our hotel bathroom.
- watched Harvey Birdman; Attorney at Law on Adult Swim (yay! cable!).
- took the kids to the Hult Center, where there is a very cool gallery in the basement.
- saw fantastic pieces from Sarah Grew, Claire Flint and Ken Herrin.
- went to several other galleries.
- took the kids to the eugene glass school, where they saw a very dramatic glass making demonstration, complete with shattering and explosions.
- took the kids to latin american food, where they had a great (and noisy) time, even though they were originally scared of the food.
- took the kids to a museum on campus.

All in all, it was a good trip. Then mrpants and I came home and worked on the kitchen some more. It will be done... someday.
