clumsygirl: art + craft + tomfoolery

Today is the first day of WASL-ing, and since we're only covering 1-3 periods... I have the day off! Whee! So I'm at home, cuddling with kitties. I've started some laundry and put yet another coat of paint on some cabinet doors (getting closer and closer!). I think that we may be able to hang some doors tomorrow! We also have put everything except some small appliances back into the kitchen cabinets. No more boxes/bags of food and utensils laying aboot. I'm super excited about that.

I'm thinking about going out and doing some spring yard cleaning. I have a honeysuckle mess that needs to be pared down, before it takes over the neighbor's house. I also could really do some weeding in our raised beds. I'm just a little cold though, so I'm having a hard time convincing myself to go outside.

Instead, I'm obsessed with a new site: www.ravelry.com. It's for knitters and crotcheters (sp?). You can plan your projects, post fo's (finished objects), map out your stash and your needles, search for cool projects via people, yarn, difficulty or object type, and talk to other knitters. You can link to your flickr account and post photos of your pieces in progress, too. I love it. I also love filling out lists. This may be why I love it so much. It's like a knitting list maker.
