art, art and more art:
I've been reading through my art history texts today, as well as taking a break by looking through my newest issue of Juxtapoz. I've found a couple artists recently that I really enjoy and I'd like to share with everyone.
Jesse Reno has a section in a gallery's website. The piece posted here is by him. Lots of scribbly bits and texture. mmm....
Jim Houser. He doesn't have a website, but there's a Jim Houser set on Flickr you can peruse. You can also find some of his stuff for sale at various galleries by googling him. My favorite piece by him is called "Noise." I love how complicated it is, with different pattersn, sections, bits and pieces all working together at different heights and sizes, w/ the same colors throughout.
