Today is a beautiful day... let us count the ways:
1. I have hope again for our country. America has redeemed itself in my eyes.
2. Mrpants starts his first day of work at TheNewPlace tomorrow.
3. All the kids (ALL!!!) got their pages turned in on time today.
4. All the editors stayed until 6:30pm tonight finishing editing the pages.
5. There was beer when I got home.

(contented sigh)

I am going to fall asleep happy.

What a great day, and the most beautiful morning ever! Two things: The other day I got another one of those "You know you grew up in the 80s if..." and I was thinking 30 years from know when my nephew grows up and gets a similar message his will probably say something like "you never knew a black man couldn't be president." And, read this great article about The Obama Revolution: http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1108/15300.html

Yeah, I'm riding the high. Like turtle lady, I have been thinking a lot about what sort of country my son will grow up in as a result of this election. It gets me all excited and wanting to write a book or something.
